Volleyball Recap: Burlington Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Burlington Christian Academy lost against Varsity Opponent back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Varsity Opponent. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 23-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Burlington Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ali Moldt had 19 assists and four digs. Moldt is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Burlington Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Burlington Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Winston Salem Christian at 5:00 p.m. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fort Scott Christian Heights on the 26th.
