Volleyball Recap: California School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

California School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Quarry Lane Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

California School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Quarry Lane, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

California School for the Deaf has already played their next contest (against California Crosspoint), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Quarry Lane, they will head out to take on Contra Costa Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
