Baseball Recap: Jefferson Saints vs. Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles
If Jefferson was riding high fresh off their 18-1 takedown of Denver West last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jefferson Saints took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 9-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Demetrius Martinez was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
