Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Leuzinger Olympians. If the Apaches were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Olympians when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Centennial had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Leuzinger, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4-1.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leuzinger, they will take on Palos Verdes on Saturday.
