Pike Kempe Game Report: vs Judson

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Pike Kempe: he recorded his first sack on Thursday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss), helping propel Steele past Judson by a score of 48-14. We hope Kempe's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Kempe and Steele will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on San Marcos at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The Knights are a perfect 5-0 against the Rattlers going back to October of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
