Baseball Recap: Walnut Ridge Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Walnut Ridge won against Harrisburg on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 4-1 win over the Newport Greyhounds. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Riley Richey tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jace Dulaney, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Trevor Augustine, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
