Baseball Recap: Whitehall Takes a Loss

Whitehall came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Spring Lake Lakers, falling 14-4. The Vikings have struggled against the Lakers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Spring Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6-2 record this season.

Whitehall didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-2 defeat against West Michigan Christian on the 30th. Spring Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
