Basketball Game Preview: Wharton Wildcats vs. Leto Falcons

The Wharton Wildcats will take on the Leto Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Wharton didn't have too much trouble with Bloomingdale as they won 63-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Wharton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tysen Jefferson, who went 7 of 11 en route to 21 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Nick Womack, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Leto posted their biggest victory since February 8, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against King as Leto made off with a 73-53 win.

Wharton has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Leto, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.
