Baseball Recap: Leon Comes Up Short

Leon fell victim to Aggieland HomeSchool and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Leon will venture away from home to face off against Iola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Iola's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Leon's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
