Softball Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Falls Lake's Winning Streak

Falls Lake and Perquimans squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Falls Lake had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Pirates. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Firebirds haven't been shut out since back in March.

The defeat snapped Falls Lake's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-11 record. As for Perquimans, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
