Football Recap: Batesville Falls Despite Big Games from Aryan Dale and Cole Bentz

Batesville lost against Harding Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pioneers received a blow as they fell 31-14 to the Wildcats.

Cole Bentz and Aryan Dale certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Bentz threw for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Dale picked up 82 receiving yards and two scores. Dale didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended two passes.

Batesville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Harding Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
