Abbeville entered their tilt with Dixie on Friday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They walked away with a 63-50 victory over the Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 85-67 back in January.

Abbeville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamerion Williams, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds. Williams' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Baylor, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 18 boards.

Abbeville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 23 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Abbeville's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Dixie, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7.
