Basketball Game Preview: Hilliard Bradley Jaguars vs. Upper Arlington Golden Bears

Hilliard Bradley hasn't had much luck against Upper Arlington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars will host the Upper Arlington Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hilliard Bradley comes in on four and Upper Arlington on eight.

Last Tuesday, Hilliard Bradley was able to grind out a solid win over New Albany, taking the game 49-37.

Hilliard Bradley found their leader in sophomore Sophia Lopez, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Jantonio, who posted nine points and six steals.

Meanwhile, Upper Arlington really took it to Central Crossing for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-11 victory. The Golden Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Upper Arlington pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Hilliard Bradley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
