If Elberta wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played UMS-Wright Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Max Fowler. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warriors 34-6 thanks in part to Fowler, who threw for 155 yards and four TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of UMS-Wright Prep's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

UMS-Wright Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Trey Strom, Thomas Delong, and Samuel Davis picked up one apiece.

UMS-Wright Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.7 points. As for Elberta, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
