Edgewood waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Jefferson Area Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Tuesday.

Edgewood's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. As for Jefferson Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Edgewood and Jefferson Area will both be playing Geneva the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Falcons will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
