Basketball Recap: Hauser Jets vs. Morristown Yellow Jackets
Hauser lost against Morristown back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hauser Jets were outmatched by the Morristown Yellow Jackets and fell 72-28. The Jets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-10.

Despite the loss, Hauser saw an underclassman step up: sophomore June Berkenstock went 6 for 7 on her way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave Berkenstock a new career-high. Ava Dempsey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.
Morristown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nevaeh Sanders led the charge by going 8 of 12 en route to 19 points and eight steals.
