Football Game Preview: West St. John vs. Plaquemine

On Friday Plaquemine take on West St. John at 7:00 PM. Plaquemine have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

If Plaquemine were riding high off their 42-12 takedown of Port Allen two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Plaquemine found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 28-59 punch to the gut against St. Thomas More last week. Plaquemine were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-28.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between West St. John and Bonnabel was still a pretty decisive one as West St. John wrapped it up with a 40-20 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for West St. John.

West St. John's win lifted them to 2-1 while Plaquemine's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if West St. John can add another positive mark to their record or if Plaquemine can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West St. John's step.
