Preview: Pensacola Tigers vs. Milton Panthers
The Pensacola Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Milton Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pensacola is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Pensacola came up short against Escambia and fell 45-33.
Pensacola's loss came about despite a quality game from Nick Jones, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. A.G. Floyd was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Milton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rickards.
Pensacola has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Milton, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
Pensacola was taken down by Milton 62-31 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Milton's Sergio Robinson, who scored 21 points.
