Volleyball Recap: Machias Wins Going Away Against Sumner + How To Watch

Machias's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Sumner Tigers 3-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Machias was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-3.

Machias found their leader in sophomore Myra Look, who had 13 aces and one assist.

Machias was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Machias back to even at 1-1.
