Softball Recap: McMinn Central Chargers vs. Meigs County Tigers

The matchup between McMinn Central and Meigs County on Monday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Chargers lost 21-13 to the Tigers. Even if the Chargers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Jayme Tiberio stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Riley Thompson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two stolen bases.
