Football Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Thomas Jefferson and Trinity, and Trinity kept the tradition alive. The Jaguars fell 33-22 to the Hillers on Friday. The Jaguars were up 22-7 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

When it comes to explaining why Thomas Jefferson lost, don't look at Tyler Eber. Despite the final result, he rushed for 202 yards and two scores. Eber's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 126 rushing yards.

Trinity's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonah Williamson led the charge by rushing for 92 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 180 yards and a pair of TDs. Owen Gardner was another key player, rushing for 122 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Trinity, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.
