Recap: Palmyra Panthers vs. Pennsauken Tech

The Palmyra Panthers's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past Pennsauken Tech with points to spare, taking the game 48-34. That's another feather in the cap for Palmyra, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Pennsauken Tech's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Xavier Melendez, who scored 16 points along with six steals, and Omari Spencer who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Melendez has scored all season.

Palmyra is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Pennsauken Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Palmyra won't have much time to rest: their next game is against STEMCivics at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Pennsauken Tech, they will be playing at home against Salem County Vo-Tech at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Salem County Vo-Tech is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
