Football Recap: Amarie Gordon and Felix Ntawarubara Pace Timber Creek Regional Defense

Timber Creek Regional lost against Delsea back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between the Chargers and the Crusaders didn't end well, with the Chargers falling 21-6. The contest marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Timber Creek Regional still got an impressive performance from Zyeir Green, who rushed for 126 yards and one score on only 12 carries, and also threw for zero yards and one TD. Green's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Timber Creek Regional didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Amarie Gordon and Felix Ntawarubara.

Delsea's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adrien Sheppard, who rushed for 128 yards.

Timber Creek Regional now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Delsea, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Timber Creek Regional is taking a road trip to square off against Willingboro at 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Chargers are facing the Chimeras at the right time seeing as the Chimeras are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Delsea, they will be playing at home against Millville at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
