Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Prep Stars vs. Silver Bluff Bulldogs

The Mountain View Prep Stars will venture away from home to square off against the Silver Bluff Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Mountain View Prep came up short against Broome and fell 9-4.

Meanwhile, Silver Bluff fell victim to Swansea and their airtight pitching crew last Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 13-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Silver Bluff saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Corley, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Silver Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mountain View Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
