The Huskies blew past the Hornets 22-3. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Hope Christian got a massive performance out of Ava Jimenez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Iliana Cordova, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Hope Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .743. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
