Central Catholic's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sierra Timberwolves by a score of 9-4. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, they had to take a 11-7 defeat.

Caine Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

On the hitting side, Joe Farinha was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Central Catholic hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sierra struck out six times.

Central Catholic's record now sits at 17-4. As for Sierra, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Bishop O'Dowd on the 2nd. As for Sierra, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-7 victory against Downey on the 8th.
