Baseball Recap: Diman RVT Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Diman RVT had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They never let the Westport Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Carter Perreira was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Diman RVT pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average this season.
