 On Saturday, Hobbs faced Organ Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hobbs Eagles came out on top against the Organ Mountain Knights by a score of  7-2. The  win was familiar territory for Hobbs who now have three in a row.

As for Organ Mountain, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Deming at 5:00  p.m. Deming has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.58  runs per game on average), something Organ Mountain will no doubt try to take advantage of.
