While Tri-Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Morgan Raiders on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Scotties sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20,  25-20.
 Emma Smith paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Smith got some help from  Ingrid Dittmar and her 31 assists.  Liv Reffitt and  Reese Lamonica kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Morgan, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Tri-Valley and Morgan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Scotties will  square off against  Meadowbrook  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  disadvantage  (322 vs. 69). Meanwhile,  Morgan (ranked 327th) will meet Shenandoah (ranked 48th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
