Jackson won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Monday too. The Jackson Vikings came out on top against the Northwest Mounties by a score of 45-37. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Mounties are ranked 465th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 12-11. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Jackson will square off against Okemos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
