Adams-Friendship is 8-2 against Nekoosa since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Green Devils will take on the Papermakers at 5:00 p.m. Adams-Friendship will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Adams-Friendship will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Westfield Area, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Green Devils came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 11-6 on Tuesday.

Riley Weaver made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Kena Kirsenlohr was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Kyra Meisenheimer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Adams-Friendship kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.
Wisconsin Dells hit Nekoosa with a five-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Papermakers came up short against the Chiefs, falling 12-2. The Papermakers haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Nekoosa saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Montana Rowe, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Adams-Friendship's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Nekoosa, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Adams-Friendship has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .472. However, it's not like Nekoosa struggles in that department as they've averaged .474. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Adams-Friendship took their victory against Nekoosa in their previous matchup on Saturday by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Green Devils repeat their success, or do the Papermakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
