After a string of four wins, Lyle/Pacelli's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turkey Valley Trojans. The Athletics were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Lyle/Pacelli's offense was headlined by Marlie Klankowski and Jacey Bednar, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Autumn Drennan and her nine assists. Finally, Grace Bauer kept Lyle/Pacelli's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Lyle/Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Turkey Valley, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Lyle/Pacelli does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Turkey Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clayton-Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
