Basketball Recap: Ava Takes a Loss

Ava was the 47-40 winner over Mountain Grove when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ava Bears lost 52-32 to the Mountain Grove Panthers on Tuesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mountain Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Bears coming up. As for Mountain Grove, they will head out to challenge Cabool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
