Algoma had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They beat the Peshtigo Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-4. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Algoma pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Peshtigo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Algoma didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Marinette on the 24th. Peshtigo has also already played their next contest (against Bay Port), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
