Football Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Northwood was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holston Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Eli Tweed had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 207 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry for Holston. That's the most rushing yards Tweed has posted since back in August.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Holston, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Northwood and Holston will both be playing Rural Retreat the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cavaliers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
