Baseball Recap: Whitney's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Whitney's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the West Trojans. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Whitney back to even at 7-7. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.

Whitney will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for West, they will host Clifton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clifton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.28 runs per game on average), something West will no doubt try to take advantage of.
