Baseball Recap: Russia Takes a Loss

If Russia was riding high fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Fairlawn on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minster Wildcats on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Russia's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Russia will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Anna at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minster, they will venture away from home to challenge Spencerville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
