After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Von Steuben, Northside was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Disney II Titans with a sharp 16-6 win. That looming 16-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Rowan Yen made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
