Basketball Recap: South Warren Takes a Loss

South Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 49-38 to the Barren County Trojans. The Spartans were probably out for revenge after losing 46-45 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Barren County, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

South Warren will be home for the holidays to greet Owensboro Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Owensboro Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season. As for Barren County, they will head out to face off against Allen County-Scottsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
