Seminole hadn't done well against Lake Brantley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Seminoles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Patriots 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Seminoles: when they faced off against the Patriots on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-0 defeat.

Luke Lehmann looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Seminole secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Jeyrel Rivera, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Lazarus Mitchell also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Seminole and bumps their season record up to 7-18. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 10-13 Lake Brantley and 10-13 Ocoee. As for Lake Brantley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
