Genoa-Kingston had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the St. Edward Green Wave by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Genoa-Kingston easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18.

Genoa-Kingston's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for St. Edward, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Genoa-Kingston will square off against Rockford Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Edward, they will face off against Chicago Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
