Softball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-8 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered since March 3rd.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Russellville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-14.

Marion has already played their next match (against Russellville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Russellville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
