It's playoff time, and Owen-Withee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Almond-Bancroft Eagles to the tune of 38-0 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won six games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Owen-Withee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tegan Treankler, Clay Mueller, and Jack Wendler picked up one apiece.

The win was the fifth in a row for Owen-Withee, bringing their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Almond-Bancroft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

As of now, neither Owen-Withee nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
