Softball Recap: Timothy Christian Comes Up Short

Timothy Christian lost against Bishop McNamara last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Fightin' Irish, falling 19-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Mook was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bishop McNamara, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Timothy Christian will face off against Marian Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop McNamara, they will challenge Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Fightin' Irish will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
