Basketball Recap: DeSoto County Bulldogs vs. Booker Tornadoes
DeSoto County and Booker squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but DeSoto County had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 74-37 loss at the hands of the Booker Tornadoes. The Bulldogs were down 56-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

DeSoto County's loss came despite strong showings from Yahri Tyler and Jaliyah Luther. Tyler dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards, while Luther posted six points and six rebounds. Tyler has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 13 times she's played.
