Dillon Christian's loss ends five-game winning streak on the road

After a string of eight wins, the Dillon Christian Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 63-46 bruising from Southeastern Christian Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dillon Christian of the 69-55 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Despite the loss, Dillon Christian saw an underclassman step up: Sean Locklear went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assist. Thompson Stone was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.

Southeastern Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eric Nyberg led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Price, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Dillon Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
