Recap: Quince Orchard Cougars vs. Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles
Even though the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles scored an imposing 55 points on Monday, the Quince Orchard Cougars still came out on top. Quince Orchard secured a 60-55 W over Seneca Valley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Quince Orchard.
Despite the loss, Seneca Valley still got an impressive performance from Jaysen Moise, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Moise hasn't dropped below 19 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Korey Trone, who scored nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Quince Orchard has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Seneca Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Quince Orchard will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarksburg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Seneca Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Gaithersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Seneca Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Gaithersburg likes a good challenge.
