Basketball Recap: Sebeka Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Sebeka won the last time they faced Menahga, and Max Lake did his part to make sure it happened again. The Sebeka Trojans strolled past the Menahga Braves with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 72-58 thanks in part to Lake, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 12 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Ament, who posted six points and 11 rebounds. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Sebeka's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Menahga, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sebeka will face off against Wadena-Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Menahga, they will square off against Pillager at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
