Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clear Creek-Amana). They blew past the Solon Spartans 19-9 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Clippers have posted against the Spartans since June 20, 2019.

Clear Creek-Amana has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Solon, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Creek-Amana will take on Bondurant-Farrar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Solon, they will challenge North Scott at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
