Winters Mill is 0-10 against Century since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Falcons will square off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Winters Mill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Winters Mill duked it out with River Hill on Wednesday. The Falcons lost 10-2 to the Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Winters Mill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briana Collins, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Westminster, falling 14-8.

Century now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Winters Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Winters Mill might still be hurting after the 22-12 defeat they got from Century when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
